Find our FREE trail descriptions useful?

Be a Summit County Explorer!
Are you an avid Summit County hiker? Do you have semi-decent writing and photo skills? Want to see your accomplishments on our website?
 
Calling all Summit County explorers who enjoy hiking and photographing the trails in and surrounding Summit County. We are looking for your written descriptions and photos of trails not yet listed on our website.

If you would like to write a description and submit it to us we will be happy to include a small photo and bio crediting your writing and photography skills!
 

 

    
Requirements:
Your description should include the following:

Length: (approx)
Highlights: (why do you love this hike?)
Difficulty Rating: Beg, Intermed, Advanced
Elevation Gain: (approx)
Directions: (accurate directions to trailhead)
Description: in equal or similar length of those already posted on our site. approx 150 words

Photos - Please send at least 5 photos with a resolution of 72-150 DPI.
Tips and HINTS:
Please do not send photos that just show yourself our your wife smiling on the trail - try to submit photos that visually show the scenery or add to the description of your hike.

If you are in the photo - make sure you are wearing your SCE "I Like To Be On TopTM" T-shirt (The only way to be sure we won't crop YOU out of the photo!)
